A total of 65,000 people have already received the vaccine against the novel coronavirus in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan started the COVID-19 vaccination on January 18, 2021.
Starting on February 8, people older than 65 will get vaccinated.
Initially, 848,000 doses were imported into the country. It was reported today that Azerbaijan purchased additional 648,000 doses.
Under the latest data, a total of 230,907 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, and 224,760 people recovered, while 3,153 people died.
