As the World Health Organization reports, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the world has exceeded 155 million, more than 3,25 million people have died.

Over the past day, 839,695 new cases of COVID-19 infection were detected in the world, 14,289 people died.

More than half of the COVID-19 cases confirmed in the past 24 hours have been reported in Southeast Asia (435,415), followed by North and South America (195,918) and Europe (143,036).

In terms of the number of people infected with COVID-19 globally, the United States is in the lead, with 32,210,817 cases of infection.

This is followed by India (21,491,598), Brazil (14,930,183), France (5,637,714), Turkey (4,977,982), Russia (4,863,514), Great Britain (4,428, 557), Italy (4,082 198) , Spain (3,559,222), Germany (3,491,988), Argentina (3,071,496) and Colombia (2,934,611).

The United States also leads the number of deaths from coronavirus globally - 573,722, followed by Brazil (414,399), India (234,083), Mexico (218,007), Great Britain (127,583), Italy (122,263) Russia (112,622), France (105,133), Germany (84,410), Spain (78,726), Colombia (76,015) and Iran (73,906).
