9 children exploded on a landmine in Afghanistan. The accident took place in North-East Province of Takhar when children were going to school.
“The territory was under the control of Taliban. Since the security forces started to clean the territory from terrorists, Taliban mined it. Unfortunately, one of the landmines activated today scarifying 9 children”, told the Police Speaker, Khalil Asir, to Reuter.
According to the official information the age of the killed children is from 9 to 12-year old.
