The citizen of Singapore admitted working as an illegal agent of Chinese intelligence in the USA. The U.S. Department of Justice provides the information.

Jun Wei Yeo, also known as Dickson Yeo, pleaded guilty in a federal court to working as an illegal agent of the Chinese government.

According to him, China uses career network sights to receive information from Americans and acts on behalf of a fake consulting firm.

Jun Wei Yeo says that he assigned persons with access to secret information to create accounts for clients.

As it is already known, the Singapore citizen has been working with insurance organizations starting from 2015. In 2018 he founded a fake consultancy company. Ninety percent of the received resumes belonged to U.S. military and government bodies’ staff.

The arrested faces 10-year charges.
