The protest in Baghdad and South Iraq against corruption and unemployment started in October 2019 and lasts until now.
Former Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi resigned as a result of the massive acts of protest. Around five hundred protesters were killed during the acts.
The new Prime Minister, in his morning speech, summoned the protesters to continue the acts until the result is achieved.
