"Our principal objective is the restoration of territorial integrity, with this implying that our main aim on the battlefield will be to liberate strategic hills from occupation and assert control over large areas," Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev said in his televised remark with Turkish channel NTV.
"Strategic hills to the north, south, and east are already under our control," Aliyev declared.
In Ilham Aliyev's words, Azerbaijan's army has liberated some villages of Fuzuli district.
"I am confident that we will receive other good news from Fuzuli district soon," he said.
The Azerbaijani leader, once again underscored that Armenia must stop hostilities in the region, comply with the ceasefire regime and fully leave the occupied lands.
"They should leave the said lands without bloodshed so that the conflict can be resolved peacefully," Aliyev declared.
