President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev required that Yerevan explain how they managed to get hold of Iskander-M missiles in the Nagorno-Karabakh war.
''How did Armenia receive these missiles? They could not have had them. We require the answer to the question: how Armenians got hold of this lethal weapon. We have not so far received the answer to this question, but we will,'' the Azerbaijani president said at the Military Trophy Park opening ceremony in Baku.
In Aliyev's words, Armenia is attempting to destroy the Shusha city with Iskander-M missiles.
''They employed these missiles against Azerbaijani troops after they liberated the Shusha city from the Armenian occupation. We have sufficient data, but we expect to hear an official statement,'' the Azerbaijani leader declared.
