There have been 414 100 new cases of coronavirus infection in India during the last 24 hours. More than 21.4 million people have been infected with the virus since the pandemic began in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, the daily death toll from the coronavirus has risen, with 3 915 people dying in 24 hours and the total number reaching 234 083. The dramatic increase in cases has started in India since February. The reason was a new mutation in the virus.
However, medical experts believe that the actual number of cases is five or ten times higher than the official one.
