Armenia's parliament again refuses to elect Pashinyan prime minister

Armenia's parliament has again refused to elect Nikol Pashinyan prime minister, and the parliament is now to dissolve.

Local media outlets say that one deputy only voted for Pashinyan, one was against and 76 abstained from voting.

The parliament rejected the candidacy of Nikol Pashinian as the head of government last week. Under Armenia's constitution, the parliament will dissolve, with snap elections called.

The president has already scheduled the date of the snap elections, which is set to be held on 20 June.
