It is well known to the scientists that our galaxy is full of black holes. According to the existing information they appear after the stars’ collapse. The usual mass size is approximately the same, representing the 20 times size of the Sun.
According to the latest researches one more big hole of 3 times bigger size than an average one was discovered. It is 68 times bigger than the Sun.
"Black holes of such mass should not even exist in our Galaxy, according to most of the current models of stellar evolution. We thought that very massive stars with the chemical composition typical of our Galaxy must shed most of their gas in powerful stellar winds, as they approach the end of their life. Therefore, they should not leave behind such a massive remnant",- said Prof. LIU Jifeng, the Head of the National Astronomical Observatory of China.
