Considering the existing sanitation and epidemiological developments and due to the COVID-19 infection spread, the country extends the special quarantine regime until August 31.
The toughened quarantine regime in Baku, Ganja, Jalilabad, Ganja, Lankaran, Masalli, Sumgayit, Yevlakh cities, as well as Absheron, Goranboy, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan, and Sheki regions will last until August 5.
In the cities with the toughened quarantine regime, public transport traffic will be suspended on 25-27 July and 1-3 August periods.
Azerbaijan reports 471 new cases of coronavirus during the last 24 hours. The total number of infected is 26,636.
