The governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey are setting up a Trilateral Committee on Customs Issues. The protocol, which was signed on October 8, 2021 in the city of Izmir, was signed by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. According to Report.ge, the information is spread by the Azerbaijani media.

The document reads that after the entry into force of the Protocol referred to in Part 1 of this decree, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan must notify the Georgian and Turkish parties that the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Protocol have been completed.
