Azerbaijan reported 159 new coronavirus cases in one day to take the total case count to 230,455 according to the Operational Headquarters under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
Five people died in the past 24 hours, with this bringing the tally to 3,141.
A total of 3,507 patients are still under treatment and 223,807 recovered.
Local health workers have tested 2,419,747 Azerbaijanis since the outbreak.
