Azerbaijan reported 3,112 new coronavirus cases in one day to take the total case count to 178,986, according to the Operational Headquarters under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
Forty-four people died in the past 24 hours, with this bringing the tally to 1,966.
A total of 62,179 patients are still under treatment and 114,841 have recovered.
Local health workers have tested 1,963,348 Azerbaijanis since the outbreak.
