Azerbaijan supports the establishment of relations between Turkey and Armenia. The statement came from Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference today. According to Report.ge, the Azerbaijani media spread the information.
According to him, it will contribute to the development of regional cooperation.
At the same time, Bayramov noted that the basis for establishing bilateral relations can only be international law, which has always been protected by both Azerbaijan and Turkey, but not Armenia.
The first meeting of the special representatives of Turkey and Armenia will be held in Moscow. Former Turkish Ambassador to Armenia Serdar Kılıçhas been appointed as the Special Representative for the Normalization of Relations with Armenia.
