By order of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, aid brigades have been sent to Turkey to extinguish forest fires. The statement came from Hikmet Hajiyev, Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan.
According to him, the President of Azerbaijan has already given relevant instructions to the Prime Minister and Minister of Emergency Situations.
"Relevant state structures have contacted the Turkish side, and fire brigades will be sent to the brotherly country as soon as possible," Hajiyev noted.
The death toll from large-scale forest fires in southern Turkey has risen to four.
