In order to occupy a leading position in the world technological processes by Azerbaijani science, to develop the economy and increase competitiveness, to expand the fields of high technologies and innovations, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences High Technologies Park is launching important works. The company AZELTECH, a resident of a high-tech park, enjoys this privilege and is working on another innovative project - the production of new drones.
Specialists will use the new drones to study forestry and aquaculture, flora and fauna in the liberated areas. There will also be radio-ecological monitoring of the region, facilitating the detection of waste burials from the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in the area.
Unmanned aerial vehicles are currently being tested. Gamma and neutron detectors are integrated into them. It is through these detectors that the radiation background in the liberated areas will be measured.
