Azerbaijani writer Azer Abdullah has died of coronavirus, by his son, writer Alpay Azer told reporters.
"My father's illness was complicated. He was in the hospital for about 20 days, but it was not possible to save him," said the writer's son.
Earlier in March, both father and son contracted the coronavirus.
Azer Abdullah was hospitalized in severe condition.
