The World leaders to discuss the Libya crisis today in Berlin. Among the participants are the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Secretary of State Chancellery of the United States, Mike Pompei, and President of Turkey,Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Two conflicting parties are invited to participate in the Conference. The internationally-recognized head of the country, Fayez al Sarraj, and the riot leader, General Khalifa Haftar.
It should be mentioned that the similar negotiations held in Russia failed to bring results.
Particular security measures are undertaken in Berlin in connection to the Conference. Around eight hundred journalists are accredited to work during the Conference.
