Vladimir Putin said that imposing sanctions on Russia over the Ukraine crisis would be a "colossal mistake" and would significantly damage US-Russian relations. For his part, Joe Biden noted that Russia's invasion of Ukraine would be followed by serious steps by the United States and its allies.
