In his exclusive interview with Fox News, Microsoft technology corporation founder Bill Gates said that he believed the end of the epidemic to be in 2022.
When asked when he expected the improvement of the epidemic situation globally ad in America, Bill Gates said that if the vaccine is approved in early 2021, the United States will be able to go to normal life next summer.
"The end of the epidemic, best case is probably 2022. But during 2021, the numbers, we should be able to drive them down, if we take the global approach. So, you know, thank goodness vaccine technology was there, that the funding came up, that the companies put their best people on it. That's why I'm optimistic this won't last indefinitely." – said Bill Gates
During the coronavirus pandemic, Gates said that vaccination rates have dropped by 14%, "erasing 20 years of progress."
