Britain faces second national lockdown

British Health Minister Matt Hancock said that a second national lockdown was one possible step to curb the coronavirus' spread, but it was not what he wanted to happen, Reuters writes.

"If everybody follows the rules, then we can avoid further national lockdowns, but we, of course, have to be prepared to take action if that's what's necessary," – said Hancock.

Britain faces 390,358 cases of coronavirus and the death toll of 41,759.
