According to Boyko Borissov, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, temples in the country will not close on Easter, and the Easter liturgy will take place as usual, but with restricted measures, also there will be a live broadcast of the Easter liturgy on state television.
"I urge the population not to go to temples and monasteries, to stay at home and pray. Liturgies will take place, and we will ring the bells. All bishops have to follow the hygiene norms, wear masks and keep their distance," the Prime Minister said.
The government of Bulgaria decided that they will not receive fire from Jerusalem this year.
There are 624 people infected with coronavirus in Bulgaria, 24 died, while 54 patients recovered.
