Reports say a couple who returned from the UK was tested positive for the COVID-19 mutation.
They feel well and are in self-isolation in their house.
The new variant of the novel coronavirus was detected in eight EU countries.
Japan, France, and Spain also confirmed the spread of the new strain.
The UK health officials also named five symptoms denoting the new virus variant.
The World Health Organization confirmed that the new strain is more transmissible, while the UK PM Boris Johnson says it spreads 70% faster.
