2-year-old Sujith Wilson, who fell into a 26-meter borewell in India, died. Local authorities confirm the fact.
Relatives say his body will be cremated.
The mother of the dead child, said she is devastated.
"My son didn't deserve such a fatal finale", she said.
The rescue operation had been ongoing for three days in the south of India. A 2-year-old child fell into an abandoned well while playing.
