The Deutsche Welle reports on the clashes between the police and protesters in Baghdad.
Iraqi security forces raided Baghdad's main protest site and faced the resistance. Seven persons wounded and 16 arrested during the raid. The law-enforcers used tear gas to disperse the act. There is a hazard of large-scale operation from the enforcers against the protestors.
The acts of protests in Iraq started in October and last until now. Initially, the riot participants protested against the high level of unemployment, later the protest transferred to the demand of the reforms. According to current information, there are 470 persons killed in the riot.
