Robert Koch Institute updates the data publishing the number of 162,496 infections in the country. Seven hundred and ninety-three more cases of infection-caused disease and seventy-four fatalities are confirmed during the last 24 hours.
The total death toll has reached 6,649.
Eighty percent of the total infected, 130,000, has recovered, which is 80% of the total number of patients.
Bavaria reports most of the cases – 42,792; North Rhine-Westphalia – 33,428; Baden-Wurttemberg – 32,146. and Berlin – 5,976.
