The number of people infected with the new coronavirus increased by 1,112 during a day in Iran. Kianush Jahanpur, the spokesman of the Minister of Health of the country, made the statement about the new numbers.
According to him, a total of 9,2584 people tested positive on the virus, while 72,439 patients recovered and defeated COVID-19.
The new coronavirus killed 71 people in the last 24 hours, with the death toll reaching 5877.
