The number of both, those infected with coronavirus and death toll is rising in China. According to the latest data, 1770 died, and 70 548 had the virus. The number of recovered is also increasing. 10 844 people healed and left the clinic.
The highest rate of coronavirus infection is in the Hubei region. The number of infected reached 58100, 1696 people died, and 6639 patients recovered.
South Korea confirmed 30 cases of the new virus, COVID-2019. In total, 408 are under control of the doctors, while 21 people recovered.
The US evacuated its citizens from the Japanese cruise ship Diamond Princess, which is in quarantine. The plane already left Japan. Forty out of 400 Americans on board had coronaviruses. The infected citizens will undergo treatment in Japanese hospitals.
Quarantine expires on February 19 but will extend if needed.
