Early parliamentary elections are being held in Israel today. After the elections held in April, Benjamin Netanyahu's party failed to form a coalition with the allies after losing the support from the former Defense Minister, Avigdor Lieberman.

Benny Gantz led military operations in the Gaza Strip between 2012 and 2014, and Prime Minister Netanyahu often referred to him as a top military commander.
More than 30 parties are fighting for a 120-seat Knesset in Israel. The necessary number of Parliament mandates to form the government is 61.
