Eleven new cases of coronavirus infection got reported in China over the past day. There are 40 asymptomatic cases registered during the last 24 hours, which the government does not consider to be the official indicator of those infected. Seven patients recovered in the country, with no deaths, reported.
A total of 82 985 people have been infected with COVID-19 since the virus spread in China. More than 78 268 patients recovered, while 4 634 died.
Since April 1, the country's authorities started publishing data on asymptomatic cases of the disease. Out of 40 cases reported, 38 are local, and two imported.
