The European Union has released an official statement and expressed concern over the October 17 strike on the city of Ganja by Armenia's armed forces.

"The European Union deplores the strikes on the Azerbaijani city of Ganja during the night of 16-17 October resulting in civilian loss of life and serious injury. All targeting of civilians and civilian installations by either party must stop. The ceasefire of October 10 must be fully respected without delay," reads the statement.

Armenian missiles killed 14 in Ganja last night and left more than 45 people injured.
