During another study of the Milky Way, astronomers have discovered a missing planet identical to Earth in size. Astrophysical Journal Letters publishes the article about the discovery.
Specialists say that such planets are free-floating among the stars.
"The first signals of gravitational microlenses show that the planet OGLE-2016-BLG-1928 resembles Mars or Earth," the statement said.
The peculiarity of the planet is that it is constantly moving between the stars, which complicates its study.
According to scientists, it is still unknown how planets like this one appear.
