Three members of one family died of complications caused by the coronavirus in Portugal. They refused the vaccine; the Guardian reported based on their relative, Frances Gonzalez.
Francis' father was 73 years old, mother - 65 years old, and brother - 40 years old.
She said all three - mother, father, and brother - became infected with the coronavirus and died in just one week. Family members were opposed to the vaccination because they were very intimidated by the misinformation of the anti-vaxxers.
Gonzalez also noted that the parents had serious health problems, but the brother was "the healthiest person." She said vaccination could save his life.
As Gonzalves explains, she decided to share this story in the hope that her family's situation would encourage others who were skeptical of vaccination.
