The protest rally in Lebanon ended up with the collision between the protesters and the police. As a result, fifty-four persons are wounded in the collision.
The law enforcers used rubber bullets and tear gas. The protesters threw stones and hand-made explosives to the police. The rally protesters made attempt to break the hard barrier erected to protect the buildings of the Parliament and Government.
Based on the information provided by the Lebanon Civil Protection Service and the Red Cross, 46 persons were delivered to the hospital.
The rally started two months ago. The citizens protested corruption and the economic crisis of the country.
