Five officers got injured during a protest rally against restrictions set due to coronavirus in Berlin.
Protests have been taking place in several German cities for several weeks now. Citizens are protesting the new measures taken, saying the restrictions violate their rights and freedom.
Police arrested about 300 protesters for violating public order. Thousands of citizens take part in the demonstration every day. However, according to the government's decision, it is forbidden for more than 50 people to gather, which is why the rallies are usually held in small groups.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Counterintelligence is warning the population that right-wing radicals are using the rallies for their purposes.
