Four skyscrapers of the Meena Plaza Tower complex were blown up in Abu Dhabi. The reason is the district development program, Khaleej Times reports.
The total height of the buildings is 144 floors. The demolition took 10 seconds. The company Modon Properties, which carried out the project, broke a new Guinness record. These skyscrapers turned out to be the tallest buildings that got destroyed using explosives.
Road construction to the port is planned instead of skyscrapers. The buildings have not been used in the last few years.
