A giant panda Rauhin has given birth at a zoo in western Japan, the local media writes about the event.
"This is the first time in two years that a panda has given birth," the zoo said.
The small panda weighs 157 grams and measures 20.5 centimeters. The zoo administration said the newborn is very energetic, snorts a lot, and does not stray too far from the mother.
It is the 10th child for Rauhin. The Father of the newborn panda is Eimei, who also lives in the zoo.
