The Ministry of Migration in Greece, reports that up to 20 IDPs at the migrant camp tested positive on coronavirus. Testing at the camp took place after a migrant woman gave birth in Athens and tested positive on the virus.
It is the first confirmed case of the virus spreading in the Greek migrant camp. According to the Ministry, migrants have no symptoms of the virus, and the disease is mild. The testing of the camp will continue.
Police control every entry and exit from the camp, which will be a subject of a 14-day quarantine. The camp is located 75 kilometers from Athens and has hundreds of people there.
