The Hague International Court of Justice will announce its decision on Azerbaijan's lawsuit against Armenia on December 7 in violation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The information is spread by the Azerbaijani media.

The verdict will be read publicly by the President of the International Court of Justice, Judge Joan E. Donoghue.

In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, only members of the court and representatives of the participating States will be present in the courtroom.

In October, the UN International Court of Justice held a two-day hearing on the claim of Azerbaijan against Armenia in connection with the violation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. At the meeting, the representative of the Azerbaijani side, Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, called on the court to take a number of temporary restrictive measures against Armenia.
