CNN reports that the United States of America will provide military support to the Afghan government in the annihilation of the Taliban movement in case they violate conditions of the peace agreement.
"We guarantee you if they [Taliban] break [terms of deal] US will have enough lethal power to destroy them, we are with the Afghan now and we will be with Afghanistan forever." – said a representative of the USA delegation in the Munich Conference.
The US Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, could not state the precise date of the Taliban annihilation, which depends on their fulfillment of the peace agreement.
As a reminder: Esper stated that the United States and Talibs developed a proposal aiming at the elimination of violence in Afghanistan in seven days.
Washington suspended negotiations with the Talibs twice during 2019. In both cases, the reasons were the attacks on the NATO military mission.
