The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, writes about the liberation of 13 villages in Azerbaijan's Jabrayil district on Twitter.
"The Soltanli, Emirvarli, Mashanli, Hasanli, Alikeykhanli, Gumlag, Hajili, Goyerchinveysalli, Niyazguzlar, Kechel Memmedli, Shahvelli, Haji Ismayilli and Isagli villages of Jabrayil district have been liberated. Karabakh is Azerbaijan!" reads the statement.

According to Aliyev, the Armenian Armed Forces violated the agreed humanitarian ceasefire, firing heavy artillery shells at Azerbaijan's residential areas and combat positions after 00:02 on October 18.
"There are dead and wounded due to these heinous actions. Azerbaijan's Army retaliated befittingly and liberated several settlements," the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan wrote.
Armeniaâs armed forces have blatantly violated the agreed humanitarian ceasefire regime and as of 00:02 hours, 18 October, used heavy artillery to fire on Azerbaijanâs residential areas and combat positions.
