The President of Azerbaijan hoisted the flag of Azerbaijan in the center of the liberated city of Shusha.
Ilham Aliyev first knelt and kissed the flag and then raised the flag of Azerbaijan.
Mehriban Aliyeva, the Vice President of Azerbaijan, posted on Instagram about her visit to Shusha.
"There has never been a road here. Our heroic soldiers liberated these lands. We built a new road in two months. Of course, the road will be wider and covered with asphalt. Azerbaijani citizens will be able to travel freely to Shusha," Ilham Aliyev said in the video.
