"Yes, of course, peace will completely change the situation in the region. I hope to see the time when three Caucasus countries will cooperate," Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, stated.
According to him, the level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia is very high.
"We are strategic partners, and our country has excellent relations with the current Georgian government," he said.
Aliyev noted that the two states support each other and are good neighbors and friends.
"Look at how many projects we have implemented together, oil and gas transportation, electricity transport, railway connection, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, TANAP, and many other projects. In my opinion, Azerbaijan is the first or second largest investor in Georgia, along with Turkey. It is the first or second-largest taxpayer," Ilham Aliyev added.
