The Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan denies reports that Russia is supplying weapons and military equipment to Armenia via Iranian territory.
"We declare that information circulated in some media about the transportation of Russian weapons and military equipment to Armenia through the Norduz checkpoint in the Islamic Republic of Iran is false and unfounded. Such information is directed against the friendship and cooperation between the two countries," the embassy said.
The first information was spread a few days before the July 12 military confrontation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
