The number of fatalities caused by coronavirus climbed by 369 in the past 24 hours to reach 29,684 in Italy, the country's health authorities said on Wednesday. The growth in daily deaths related to the infection was higher compared to the previous three days.
Italy registered 1,444 new COVID-19 infections since yesterday, raising coronavirus cases count to 214,457 nationwide.
Meanwhile, health officials unveiled that the total number of people who successfully recovered from the disease rose to 93,245.
