Italy holds a constitutional referendum and regional elections

Italy is holding the constitutional referendum and regional elections on September 20-21. The population is expected to decide the number of deputies in the parliament through participation in the referendum. The Italians are offered to answer whether they want to maintain 600 seats in the House of Delegates and 315 seats in the Upper House of Parliament or reduce it to 400 and 200 respectively.

In parallel with the referendum, seven Italy regions are voting for regional government: Toscana, Campania, Liguria, Valle-d’Aosta, Apulia, Marcas, and Veneto. Over 35% of Italians participate in regional government elections.
