"Our goal is to create conditions for the return of internally displaced persons to the liberated territories. There is nothing left there; everything is destroyed," Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, said at the joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart, Gabrielius Landsbergis.
According to Bayramov, everything is complicated because these areas are "poisoned by mines."
The Minister stressed that Armenia refuses to hand over the maps of the mined areas, thus violating the agreements.
"I informed my Lithuanian colleague that since November 10 last year, 22 people have been killed in a mine explosion. The world community should also pay attention to this," Bayramov said.
