"Azerbaijan strictly adheres to and fulfills obligations within the agreements reached. The country has taken numerous unilateral steps, particularly, allowed humanitarian aid to pass through Azerbaijan. The search for the bodies and remains was organized with the participation of the Azerbaijani military, and about 2,600 bodies were handed over to the Armenian side," said Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan after meeting Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan said he highly appreciates joint activities of the Russian-Turkish monitoring center.
Jeyhun Bayramov stressed that the Armenian side continues to violate the peace process.
"Their position does not serve normalization of the situation in the region. The fact that the Armenian servicemen invaded the territory of Azerbaijan and killed servicemen and civilians at the end of 2020 is a gross violation of the agreements. Armenia continues war crimes in Azerbaijan," he said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan stated that the Armenian side has not handed over maps of the mined areas yet.
