America has chosen Democrat Joe Biden as its 46th president.
Biden, who turns 78 at the end of this month, will become the oldest president when he is inaugurated in January.
The candidates need 270 Electoral College votes to win the presidency, and Biden won 284.
Kamala Harris, who became the first Indian-American and first Black woman to run for vice president, will take the post.
